This might be the single best thing that I read today, as I sit in a public library:

I believe in libraries. Everyone who enters the library is equal. You have a right to be there. You don’t have to pay. You don’t have to be of a certain ethnicity. You don’t have to belong to a certain religion. It’s a place where information and the love of reading are both valued. And librarians are there to help members of the public find what they need to live and to make their lives better.

    I used to like to go to the library but the internet and my Kindle have kept me away.

      Yes, that is the way the world is going. I’m afraid that I am hardwired for hard copies. 🙂
